Service Learning Requirement

Beginning Class entering Autumn 2023 (Class of 2026)

The service/service-learning requirement is a total of at least 20 hours for the two years you are here on campus. You may choose what experiences you will volunteer for. For more information about the opportunities available, please check out our “Opportunities” page! Some of you may accumulate more and that is fine. In the era of COVID 19 and the delta variant…

We recognize that many of the opportunities that were available pre-pandemic may not open up quickly in order to ensure the safety of all participants. We will be re-adjusting the requirement accordingly, initially decreasing to 5 hours in the two years on campus. Please stay tuned for updated information!

UPDATE: Autumn Quarter, 2023, Classes of 2024 and 2025.

As COVID19 continues and with the delta variant, opportunities are slowly re-opening in a very limited way to protect all participants, the service and service-learning requirement will be waived for the DPT class of 2024. and 5 hours for the two years on campus, class of 2025.
